ABOUT
As a contemporary photographer, I strive to reveal meaning, resilience, and the spirit of humanity in the face of challenges, showcasing the interaction between the visible and the emotional. Each of my projects is a personal exploration of themes such as cultural heritage, identity, and the unyielding power of hope. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my perception of calm and security was disrupted. I realized that the process of creating photography helps me escape the outer world filled with tragedies and immerse myself in a hidden inner world, materializing it into images. In my works, I aim to convey the ephemeral beauty of the world through the prism of my subconscious. My artistic vision has been profoundly shaped by the cultural richness and complex history of Ukraine, where I grew up. The ongoing war has raised many questions for me: about human existence, "Who are we?", what values matter most to people in the 21st century, and what makes a person strong and unbreakable. I explore existential issues through the lens of my own emotions, remaining in a constant process of self-determination and self-awareness. Each of my works is a feeling and an emotion I experience, embodied in form, color, and image. Through my art, I seek to ask questions, tell stories, and illuminate the beauty and complexity of life—even in its most challenging moments. I invite viewers to reflect, feel, and find their own connections within the visual language I create.
